It's been a long time since I brought the old 05D memories to the surface. I received a call a few minutes ago from Ken Manley (Missouri) who referred me to this site. He and I hit a few locations together including Nam, Thailand, and Germany.
Dwight Pinkerton (Nebraska) got up with me back in the summer, when his son (Riley) was getting ready to ship out to Iraq. We had been stationed together in Thailand and Korea. We wish his son a safe journey back home.
Looking through the names and remembering the faces brought back the good, bad, and ugly (smile) times. I especially enjoyed reading the Schleswig comments by Tom Harris (Georgia ?). He was a mentor to many of us during our early years.
I have been married for the last 22 years to Pat. We raised 3 children, and have 5 grandchildren. I recently was hired back into the federal government as a TSA Screening Manager, working at the Wilmington, N.C. Airport (ILM).
