75th / 600th USASA Company Reunion Discussion, Photos & Reports

75th / 600th ASA Company and All Italy ASA/INSCOM reunion set for Cleveland, Ohio the weekend of September 24-26, 2010.

Hampton Inn Cleveland-IndependenceClick here for Hotel Site. We do not have a special discount with the hotel but they do provide AAA and AARP discounts. There are other hotels in the area and staying at the Hampton is probably where most if not all will stay for the reunion.

Rich Anderson and I, as he mentioned in his comments think that the Saturday evening dinner might be fun to have in a Little Italy restaurant in Cleveland. (I guess about six or seven miles from the hotel).  Here is a link to a web page about the Little Italy area. Please let the group know about your opinion of this and/or recommendations in the comments below.

Tom and Perk,
I didn't get any negative feedback for meeting in Cleveland the weekend of 09/24-26/2010 at the Hampton Inn.http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=I5KHQQWRDTGJWCSGBJF3MQQ?ctyhocn=CLEIPHX
If you guys want to post it on your web sites I will then e-mail everyone on my list to check it out and we'll see what happens. The places to eat in Little Italy look great so we can pick one at a later date and make reservations. Hope it all works out.
Talk to you later.
Rich

Mac & Karen McKusick plan to attend the reunion.

I also rec'd this e-mail from Maurice,
Guess that is in Cleavland if so we should be able to make it.

Guys I would love to attend this one but it will be according to health. My heart doctor has recommended that I have a heart transplant. I have been turned down since I have not been cancer free for five years. I just past the three year mark, keep us in your prayers that I just might make it until then. My ejection factor is at 10% at this time. If God is willing I would love to make this reunior.

From Curt Malone

Hey, Rich, count me in.

How are you doing with your bypass recovery? I've had my share of problems, but thankfully, no bypass yet. We had Michigan weather this year, there are still piles of snow in parking lots and alongside some roads.

Looking forward to our annual gathering in the mistake on the lake

Curt

We will not be able to attend a reunion this year.

I shall try like hell Ted

Saturday Evening

Looking extensively at the map of Independence, to me only two places to eat on Saturday are Delmonico's Steakhouse, and the Bonefish Grill. This offered in case we decide not to trek further a field.

Delmonico's, if you track down it's Independence location menu is an Italian favor steak house. The Google maps link for this lead to the NY website and does not mention the Independence place. Digging around via reviews and such you can find the menus for the Independence location. Recent reviews by the way.

The Bonefish has decent reviews, but as only seafood, may not over excite anyone (Lik Me ;0-)

By the way this is not the same Steak House we ate in on the first Cleveland reunion. That place is closed. I just called Delmonico's just to make sure. They have been open for six years and have no plans to close.
