Tom,
I just arrived home at 10:00 p.m. from a busy Sunday and a trip upstate for a Missions Conference to find five e-mails from Gary Winn Kay. For two guys who really don't remember much about each other even though we were in the 5th RRU for nearly two years at the same time, we have been burning up "the wires' in recent days.
This all started because Col. Milton A. Elgin who was Operations Officer at the 5th during my time there sent me an e-mail saying, "Dick, you've got to see this." That was Gary Kay's History of the 5th.
You have my permission to use any pictures now or in the future that I have given to Gary Kay or Richard W. Jaslovsky. I was the Top Secret/Secret Control Clerk at the 5th. The early site pictures were in my desk when I took over that job. Before I left on December 23, 1963 I ask Col. Elgin if I could have them. He said yes and that is how I came to have them. The pictures have been stored away for thirty eight years. May they stir some memories and bring some joy!
